Description:
A full service multifamily real estate firm, ROSS Companies, is looking for an experienced Leasing Consultant for a property in College Park, MD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, lease renewals and resident retention. They will interact directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy, ensure resident satisfaction, and deliver the highest level of customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma required.
- Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service roles is preferred.
- Yardi experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Knowledge of local rental market trends and conditions preferred.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to speak different languages is always a plus!

Responsibilities:
- Greet prospective residents, show apartments, and assist with the leasing process.
- Explain lease terms, community policies, and rental prices to potential tenants.
- Conduct property tours and highlight the unique features and amenities of the community.
- Follow up with prospects through phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospects, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Prepare and process leasing paperwork, including lease agreements and renewals.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely and efficient service requests.
