Salary: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

If so, Donaldson, a leader in the multi-family property management industry, has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Leasing Consultant! We are seeking a talented Leasing Consultant with prior experience for a 379 -unit residential apartment community located in Washington, DC (Hillstone Apartments/Stanton Glenn Apartments).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in coordination of unit turnovers with move-ins.
  • Inspecting made-ready units to ensure quality.
  • Preparing resident/prospect correspondence as directed.
  • Maintaining complete resident files.
  • Processing applications for pre-approvals (credit check, income requirements, rental history, etc.) and submit applications.
  • Preparing accurate lease packages according to company policy.
  • Assisting residents with move-in orientation to include pre-apartment inspection, lease signing and move-in inspection with resident.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential property management
  • Tax Credit Specialist Certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Professional appearance
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and Yardi
  • Some weekend work
