REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS)
- Legal Assistant Diploma or equivalent work experience is preferred
- 5+ years of administration experience, ideally in a leasing support role and/or lease documentation capacity
- Knowledge of real estate industry, leasing and contract terminology, principles and procedures
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite
- Experience using DocuSign
- Prior experience with property management software is an asset
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Able to prioritize and successfully manage multiple requests simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:
- Draft and prepare lease agreements and various lease-related documents, such as amendments, extensions, consents to sublease, deferrals, parking agreements, surrender, terminations, control letters, and renewal reminders
- Promptly review and follow up on all lease documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Review and monitor leasing inputs in the database system
- Track, update and maintain all leasing documentation and files, both hard and soft copy
- Conduct precedent reviews and updates
- Review and approve database and abstracts
- Prepare for and attend meetings regarding leasing and prepare meeting minutes and follow up on action items
- Stay updated on industry and legal trends and requirements
- Provide administrative support to the VP of Leasing and Leasing Team as required
- Produce and distribute monthly reports to Leasing, Property Management and Accounting departments as required
- Other duties as required
