Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
You’ll work with the Head of Shopping Centre Leasing and the Leasing & Asset Management teams to lease a diverse portfolio of assets to help us meet the evolving needs of occupiers while delivering strong returns for investors. It’s a role that will see you taking the lead on devising leasing strategy to help deliver business plans and driving portfolio performance.
It’s your chance to gain exposure on assets that matter. The quality and scale of our portfolio is second to none and because we’re a relatively small team, you’ll have bigger responsibilities and greater opportunities to broaden your experience.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Advising and leading on delivery of the Leasing Strategy for a portfolio of assets, working in close partnership with the Asset Management and Development teams.
- Ensuring the Leasing Strategy and income initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain a wide range of retail customer relationships, through regular meetings, performance reviews and identifying opportunities for growth.
- The leasing strategy will be partly informed by customer insight and research. You will therefore work closely with British Land’s customer insight team, analysing performance and affordability
- Manage external teams, including leasing agents and lawyers in achieving asset level objectives.
- Management of a large number of concurrent incomes initiatives.
- Work closely with Asset Management Team to develop and implement the asset level business plans.
- Regular communication and cooperation with Joint-Venture partners.
- Communication and collaboration with the retail team on business wide initiatives; and
- Ensure B2B marketing strategy aligns with leasing aspirations and remains on brand
