Description:

Epic Investment Services is seeking a Leasing Representative who will report to the Vice President,
Leasing, and will work closely with the Leasing Team at Epic on GTA assets. The Leasing Representative
will be part of a driven and collaborative team, while receiving the mentorship, knowledge, and
experience to develop the skills that will build an exciting career in Leasing.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintain/establish strong relationships and ongoing contact with brokers, existing tenants and

prospective tenants through meetings, luncheons, presentations, etc.

  • Strategically plan broker functions for the purpose of marketing space and maintaining business

relationships.

  • Compile market intelligence including occupancy reports, recent transactions, new development,

etc.

  • Assist in creation of marketing campaigns and related materials including websites, leasing

incentives, fact sheets, brochures and emails.

  • Tour prospective tenants through available suites/units.
  • Proposal preparation including accompanying financial analysis.
  • Under the guidance of the Vice President, Leasing, negotiate terms of leasing proposals, offers

and leases to achieve optimum value.

  • Work collaboratively with property management, operations and project management to confirm

negotiation terms and seamlessly transition new tenants.

  • Assist with Budget Preparation including Market Overviews and Asset Management Plans.
  • Provide input on new acquisitions with regards to market conditions as it relates to leasing.
  • Prepare reports on completed lease transactions and variances for internal and client use.

Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary Education: University degree preferred.
  • Obtained or in the process of obtaining their RECO Salesperson designation.
  • 2-5 years of experience in leasing and negotiations of commercial real estate with a focus on

office and industrial properties.

  • Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with Adobe products and database management software (VTS is an

asset).

  • Experience in financial analysis of lease obligations.
  • Ability to assist in the development of all required marketing materials.
  • Knowledge of contract law and specifically commercial offers and leases.
  • Must have strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with negotiations.
  • Must have very strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to work with others in a team environment.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and problem solving.

Additional:

  • Access to own personal vehicle required.
  • A valid G Class Driver’s License is required.
