JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented Bag Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our design initiatives, creating innovative and stylish bag collections that resonate with our brand’s aesthetic and target market. You will play a crucial role in researching, conceptualizing, and developing new designs, ensuring our products remain at the cutting edge of market trends.

REQUIREMENTS

• Educational Background : Diploma or Degree in Fashion Design, Industrial Design, or a related discipline.
• Experience : At least 2 years of experience in fashion design, specifically in accessories or bag design, covering product development, technical design, and production quality approvals.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with strong capabilities in sketching, rendering, and technical flat drawing.
• Design Sensibility : Keen design sense with a meticulous eye for detail, color, and materials, and the ability to forecast fashion trends.
• Creativity & Innovation : Proven creative skills with a passion for fashion and innovative design solutions.
• Project Management : A proactive self-starter with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
• Language Proficiency : Proficiency in Mandarin is required for effective communication with our partners in China.
• Travel : Occasional travel to China for factory visits and supplier meetings.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in designing leather goods or accessories.
• Knowledge of sustainable and ethical design practices.
• Familiarity with CAD software or 3D modeling tools.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

• Design & Development : Develop sophisticated, trend-setting seasonal collections that align with our brand vision.
• Trend Analysis : Conduct in-depth research to identify key market trends, styles, and colors, integrating them into fresh designs.
• Collaboration : Partner with factories, suppliers, and merchandisers to streamline the development of new collections.
• Material Sourcing : Source innovative materials and accessories for current and future product lines, ensuring quality and uniqueness.
• Presentation : Create compelling presentations on design concepts, including mood boards, sketches, and technical specifications.
• Concept to Completion : Manage the full design process, from initial sketches and prototypes to the final production of products.
• Prototype Review : Engage in all prototype reviews and fittings during the sampling stage to ensure design integrity and adherence to quality standards.
