ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Media Production, Communication, Broadcasting, or related field and/or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
- Minimum six to seven years of direct experience in a variety of video/photographic productions
- Experience creating video productions
- Demonstrated creativity and the ability to tell original, compelling stories, including planning and developing pre-production video ideas into outlines, scripts, and story boards
- Extensive experience using video production equipment, including DSLR cameras, mixers, editing software and audio equipment
- Expert in sound and lighting design, colourcorrection, colour grading and audio mixing
- Proven experience turning innovative story concepts into reality
- Experience researching and recommending production topics
- Experience conducting photography and/or videography shoots
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written
- Must have good video project management skills and have a strong understanding of content marketing best practices, including required outputs for different communications channels (e.g., social media platforms) and captioning requirements
- Demonstrated ability to perform filming, photography and editing duties independently
- Creative, resourceful and solutions-oriented; able to manage priorities, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and highly developed relationship-management skills

- Researching and recommending new materials, equipment and manufacturers
- Troubleshooting routine equipment repairs
- Conducting photography and/or videography shoots
- Editing post-production audio and/or visual material
- Maintaining a repositoryof digital media records
