About the role: As one of our lecturers at NPTC Group of Colleges you will carry out a full range of teaching duties and administration associated with the delivery and management of learning programmes as appropriate.
Band A. Annualised hours: 699.6 – 835 (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).
Permanent, flexible fractional.
Associate Lecturer Scales 1 – 4, £24,049 - £28,381 per annum, pro rata. Main Grade Scales 1 – UP1, £30,620 - £44,011 per annum, pro rata (for qualified lecturers).
About you: Our ideal applicant will have a teaching qualification (training may be provided), along with a NVQ Level 3/Advanced Craft Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery and have relevant industrial experience. Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English are also required (GCSE or equivalent). With the impact the digital world is having on teaching and learning candidates will also need to be IT literate to at least level 2.
