Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors (AIPC) Is seeking passionate, dedicated counsellors with experience teaching at a tertiary level to join our Academic team and impart their knowledge on the next generation of counselling workers,
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and conduct lectures and tutorials.
- Develop study materials including lectures and materials for assigned subjects in accordance with approved subject outlines.
- Provide study assistance to students
- Encourage and monitor the engagement of students in their studies
- Develop and conduct face-to-face residential school sessions for relevant subjects, including assessing students during the residential schools.
- Mark student assessments and provide feedback in accordance with assessment and moderation policies.
- Identify and liaise with students at risk and apply individual learning plans as needed.
- Maintain subject sites on the Learning Management System
- Maintain current knowledge and skills in counselling and in higher education teaching and learning
