Description:

Duties/Pligte

  • Lecturing undergraduate modules in die Department of Public Law, including Public International Law as well as, but not limited to, Interpretation of Statutes and/or Legal Philosophy.
  • Actively researching, writing and publishing in the assigned field(s) of law, with a focus on Public International Law.
  • Postgraduate supervision in Public International Law and other specialised areas covered by the Department.
  • Contributing to the administrative functioning of the Department and Faculty.
  • Performing such other duties as assigned by the Faculty.
  • Onderrig van voorgraadse modules in die Departement Publiekreg, met inbegrip van Publieke Internasionale Reg, asook (maar nie uitsluitlik) Uitleg van Wetstekste en/of Regsfilosofie.
  • Aktiewe navorsing, skryf en publikasie in die toegewyse regsrigting(s), met ’n fokus op Publieke Internasionale Reg.
  • Nagraadse studieleiding in Publieke Internasionale Reg en ander gespesialiseerde regsrigtings in die Departement.
  • Dra by tot die administratiewe funksionering van die Departement en Fakulteit.
  • Uitvoering van ander take soos deur die Fakulteit toegewys.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes

  • An LLM with a relevant undergraduate degree in law.
  • ’n LLM met ’n toepaslike voorgraadse regsgraad.

  • Postgraduate training, research, publications, or teaching experience in Public International Law.
