Responsibilities:

  • Hold a doctoral qualification in Clinical Exercise Physiology or cognate discipline, with experience in exercise rehabilitation for musculoskeletal pathologies.
  • Hold accreditation (or demonstrated eligibility) as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sport Science Australia.
  • Have a demonstrated record of publication in high-quality outlets including evidence of international and national research collaborations and/or partnerships.
  • Demonstrate the ability to undertake high quality teaching as indicated by internal and external surveys and outcomes for students that will improve or innovate in response to feedback.
  • Demonstrate ability to contribute to curriculum development at postgraduate level, taking responsibility for the preparation and delivery of course modules and coordinating courses, including collaboration in curriculum design and delivery where appropriate.
  • Be able to efficiently perform in allocated internal roles, sharing academic service responsibilities, contributing to outcomes of internal committees, and developing external collaborations
