The School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures, invites applications for a Lecturer in Film, Exhibition & Curation (FEC). The lectureship is tenable from September 2024 on an open ended basis.
We are seeking to appoint a part-time (0.8FTE) Lecturer in Film Exhibition & Curation whose teaching and research expertise is within these fields. Preference will be given to candidates whose research is within the specialisms of archive film, archives and curation, minority film-making, transnational cinema and exhibition, or emerging exhibition platforms.
The appointee will engage in research; teach, supervise and administer across the MSc Film, Exhibition & Curation and contribute to our broader postgraduate teaching and supervision, as well as to the administration and successful management of the subject area.

YOUR SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:
- PhD in film or a directly related subject in-hand at the time of application; or professional equivalent.
- Commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
- Ability to design and deliver course materials.
- Experience of teaching and assessment of student performance at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly, both orally and in writing.
