We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer to support the delivery of core neuroscience knowledge and skills training on our 4-year sandwich BSc. Neuroscience programme.
You will join an existing academic team to provide a high-quality learning & teaching experience in neuroscience and will become a member of a vibrant and successful group of investigators with a focus on cortical dynamics, plasticity, epilepsy, brain metabolism and neuropharmacology. Members are currently funded by the Wellcome Trust, MRC, BBSRC and AMS.
You will be an experienced neuroscientist or pharmacologist, holding a PhD and having ambitious plans as a Principal Investigator in neuroscience or neuropharmacology research. You will show ability or potential to win independent funding and develop a strong record of publications in international leading journals.
Aston offers an outstanding research environment, with an active Biomedical Facility for in vivo and in vitro work, and MEG, MRI and TMS facilities within the Aston Institute for Health and Neurodevelopment (https://www.aston.ac.uk/research/hls/ihn).
