Key Responsibilities

  • Engaging Educator: Deliver dynamic Early Years and Education modules (Level 1-5) to 16-18 and adult learners, smashing success targets!
  • Course Innovator: Collaborate to design cutting-edge courses, including T Levels and NCFE, in response to sector trends.
  • Progress Champion: Monitor attendance and learner progress, ensuring everyone reaches their goals.
  • Assessment Creator: Craft tailored assignments and assessments that inspire and challenge students.
  • Feedback Guru: Provide timely, constructive feedback to empower learner growth.
  • Quality Advocate: Maintain high teaching standards through strategic planning and quality assurance.
  • Tech Trailblazer: Leverage the latest technology to enhance teaching and assessment experiences.
  • Exam Ready: Ensure learners are prepped and ready for exams, on time and with confidence.

Skills, knowledge and expertise

QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING

  • Health & Social Care Degree: Bring a degree or equivalent in Health and Social Care or Early Years to the table. (Desirable)
  • Teaching Credentials: Showcase your teaching ability with a qualification (e.g., Cert Ed, PGCE, or DTLLs) or be ready to embark on the journey to earn a Diploma in Education and Training (DET). (Desirable)
  • Level 2 Qualification: Hold a Level 2 qualification (GCSE A* – C or equivalent) in Maths and English, or be eager to achieve these with the College’s support.
