Description:
[What the role is]
This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer in the School of Humanities & Social Sciences.
Responsibilities:
- Curriculum development, course delivery (face-to-face/online) and project supervision for youth and adult learners in the following areas:
- Behaviour Management & Interventions
- Social Psychology
- Abnormal Psychology
- Health Psychology
- Mental Wellness
- Industrial Psychology
- Community Development & Social Services
- Community Psychology & Advocacy
- Lead and identify new opportunities, initiatives and collaborations with the industry, institutes of higher learnings & related agencies
- Keep abreast with latest trends and developments in the areas of youth work, community development
- Handle administrative work relating to teaching and assigned projects
- Supervise students during internships
- Be up to date with the latest developments in the youth services space, in the areas of technology and community solutionin
