Responsibilities:

The Institute of Health and Allied Health Professions at Nottingham Trent University is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Mental Health Nursing Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join our academic team. We’re seeking an individual who is experienced in the field of Mental Health Nursing and who can provide high quality teaching and learning for our students.
The successful candidate will join the Nursing team to make a valued contribution to our range of pre-registration nursing and post-graduate courses. You will participate in the planning, delivery, assessment, and quality assurance processes across the nursing programmes. You will contribute to student recruitment to select candidates for the next generation of mental health nurses. You will act as a personal tutor for Mental Health Nursing students providing pastoral care, alongside working collaboratively with our key stakeholder organisations to ensure support and high-quality learning experiences for students.
The successful candidate will have experience working with learners in practice or higher education, designing, and delivering learning opportunities, and have a good understanding of current and evolving clinical, professional, and policy developments in Mental Health Nursing. You will possess excellent communication and leadership skills with a willingness to continue developing your scholarly, practice, or research profile.
