Lecturer soil hydrology

Are you passionate about hydrology and transport processes in soils? Do you want to make a difference as an inspiring teacher? You will work as a lecturer in the Soil Physics and Land Management chair group.

Your duties and responsibilities include:

• Lecturing in the bachelor courses (i) Hydrogeology and (ii) Contaminant Hydrogeology
• Lecturing in master courses (i) Interdisciplinary Topics in Earth and Environment, (ii) Water and Air Flow: Numerical Techniques and (iii) Advanced Hydrological Systems Analysis
• Setup with colleagues a new master course in Soil Hydrology
• Support students with GMS and GIS-based modelling tools
• Supervision bachelor and master thesis students in Soil Physics and Land Management

Depending on your experience, we offer a competitive gross salary of between €3226,- and €5090,- for a full-time working week of 38 hours, in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreements for Dutch Universities (CAO-NU) (scale 10). Initially, we offer you a one-year contract of 22,6 hours a week, which will then be extended to an open-ended contract if there is mutual enthusiasm.
