WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking an enthusiastic administrative assistant to help with day-to-day tasks within our busy firm. The successful candidate will be organized, detailed and have strong technical skills. If you are a team player, like to take initiative and diligent with follow-up, this is the ideal role for you. For optimal success, this role will be a minimum of three days in office with the possibility of more depending on workload.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • One year of previous office or legal experience
  • Successful completion of a post-secondary program in legal or office administration
  • Handle time pressure situations and stress of multiple demands
  • Flexible to the changing demands of the job

SKILLS:

  • MS Office Suite of Applications (especially in Excel)
  • Strong verbal and written communication

Responsibilities:

  • Handle the onboarding of clients and conflict checks
  • Assist with the billing process from beginning to end
  • Complete dockets daily
  • Follow-up on Accounts Receivable
  • Edit and format documents
  • Submit expenses
  • A variety of other administrative tasks as assigned
  • Communicate professionally with all internal and external clients
  • Produce the highest quality of work
  • Accountable for all work assigned
