Description:

OVERVIEW

The Burlington in-house Legal team is growing and they’re seeking a skilled Administrative Operations Analyst to join the team! In this role you will serve as a key liaison on behalf of Legal with other departments, including IT, Finance, and HR. Additionally you will act as the primary contact for administrative matters on behalf of Legal, coordinating with outside entities, business associates, outside law firms, courts, and so on. This is a hybrid role so you should be comfortable with commuting into the office in Burlington, New Jersey.
To be successful in this position you will be a collaborative team player with 3+ years of experience with legal project management and operations, either in-house or at a law firm. Strong experience in developing, implementing, and using Legal department technology solutions is required, and prior experience developing Legal department process guidelines and procedures is preferred. Outstanding administrative and organizational skills required.

A Day in the Life:

  • Assist in developing and implementing internal process guidelines and templates and optimize workflows within the legal department
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys with respect to travel requests, mail services, scheduling, and expense reports
  • Manage departmental budgets including planning, tracking and expense analysis
  • Manage the relationship between vendors and the legal department, including onboarding new firms/vendors
  • Oversee matter creation, billing, processing of expense accruals and reporting
  • Draft, run, and edit reports to support attorneys in their practices
  • Manage technology related to the legal function, including intranet portal site and document management and e-billing system
  • Collaborate with manager to identify, create/improve, drive, and implement Legal department processes and workflows, focusing on efficiency, scale, automation, including developing and maintaining self-help tools for the department

BA or BS, or equivalent experience is required for this role.
