JOB SUMMARY:

The Legal Administrator will assist with legal research, regulatory and contract analysis, corporate file management, department metrics, training development, as well as working with technologies such as PowerBI, Confluence, Jira, and Point.
This is an opportunity to gain real-life, hands-on experience in an in-house legal department with a rapidly growing technology company. The position is part of a collaborative, team-based approach to corporate legal services.

  • Comfortable learning new technologies and putting those new skills into practice.Experience with technologies such as Salesforce,
  • Point, Confluence and Jira is an asset.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including thoughtfulness, a positive attitude and the ability to develop strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong commitment to ethical conduct.
  • Collaborative mindset and creativity.
  • Certification as legal assistant is preferred.
    Location Information: Our ideal candidate is located in Ontario and is able to come into our Kitchener Office on occasion.
    The expected base salary range for a new hire in this role is listed below. The annualized base salary offered is determined by each candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, education, training and experience. It is aligned to ensure both internal and external competitiveness using market data for the geographic location and industry. As part of the total compensation at D2L the role may be eligible for additional benefits including a Wellness Subsidy, Equity Grants, Variable Incentive, and more.
