REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • a positive attitude and the ability to manage the workflow of multiple fee earners;
  • intermediate to advanced computer skills across the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Powerpoint, working knowledge of Excel, and a typing speed of 60+ wpm
  • have experience using document management and billing systems (such as FileSite and Aderant Expert, or similar);
  • strong organisational and file management skills;
  • the ability to work well with others in a team environment;
  • initiative and the ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and professional full-time legal secretary to join our Adelaide office within our Tax team. We are looking for someone who is able to use their initiative, who is proactive, and is capable and motivated to work autonomously. This role will involve:

  • liaising with clients and staff on day-to-day matters;
  • preparation of legal documents and correspondence;
  • billing;
  • opening, maintaining and closing electronic files; and
  • administrative tasks including diary and travel management, answering phones and recording messages
