As part of our strategic growth, we’re seeking a Legal AI & Automation Specialist to drive process efficiency and enhance our operational workflows through advanced automation, including AI-driven tools for document review, contract analysis, and client communication automation.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Legal AI & Automation Specialist will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing automation workflows across Bay Legal’s legal operations platforms. This role will focus on seamless integrations with platforms such as Lawmatics, Clio, and custom in-house software, significantly improving operational efficiency and client engagement through advanced AI technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated experience with Lawmatics, Clio, and legal operations automation.
- Proficient in legal software ecosystems and integration tools such as Zapier, Pipedream, or custom API development.
- Strong technical background with knowledge of databases, APIs, data mapping, and AI technologies.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess business processes and recommend automation strategies.
- Experience with AI-driven automation tools and applications in legal environments.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience working within a legal environment or with law firms.
- Familiarity with project management tools and agile methodologies.
- Basic coding skills (JavaScript, Python) for API customization, AI tool development, and advanced automation tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced automation workflows in Lawmatics, Clio, and custom in-house legal software.
- Integrate various legal software tools using platforms like Zapier, Zendesk, APIs, and custom automation scripts.
- Collaborate with legal operations, IT, and marketing teams to identify workflow inefficiencies and develop automation solutions.
- Implement and optimize AI-driven tools to support document automation, contract analysis, data analysis, and client communication.
- Ensure accurate and consistent data synchronization across integrated platforms.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation workflows, system integrations, and AI tools.
- Provide training and ongoing support to staff on new automation features, workflows, and AI capabilities.
- Monitor automation performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvements.
