About the Role
We are looking for a Legal Analyst to join a dynamic Practical Guidance team producing high quality legal content. If you are passionate about keeping abreast of the latest developments in the law then this role is a perfect fit for you. The Legal Analyst will maintain the currency of Practice Areas within the Practical Guidance platform.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, owning, and executing content upkeep process
  • Conducting legal research and performing editorial tasks
  • Monitoring current awareness and staying abreast of changes in law
  • Drafting and revising legal content and overseeing projects
  • Improving operational effectiveness by standardizing and streamlining processes
  • Editing of manuscript for house style, grammar, and presentation
  • Task-specific research
  • Manage outside author and contractor relationships and submissions
  • Identification and electronic linking of product sets and online sources
  • Quality assurance testing
  • General editorial support
  • Creating documents for training

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) or equivalent
  • Admitted attorney with at least three years of PQE experience in commercial and/or business matters preferred
  • Display analytical, legal research, and writing abilities
  • Have skills of high caliber
  • Show interpersonal and communication skills
  • Prioritize and meet critical deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing business demands
  • Possess technical aptitude
  • Be a curious learner with a demonstrated growth mindset
