THE ROLE

We’re looking for a part time Legal Assistant (24-32 hours per week) to support legal activities across the business on a variety of topics, supporting Castor’s growth and international customer acquisition both in the academic and commercial sector.
Compliance with industry standards is an essential part of Castor’s business, you will have a responsibility to understand,and operate within these standards with the goal of continuously improving the team’s quality and efficiency.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Multi-jurisdictional legal drafting and legal review work;
• Assisting Castor’s sales team with NDAs and SaaS agreements;
• Assessing data processing agreements and business associate agreements;
• Reviewing Castor’s existing privacy policies and practices and ensuring that Castor complies with all laws and regulations;
• Researching privacy changes in relevant jurisdictions;
• Supporting Castor’s growth and expansion in different territories including the US;
• Offering legal administrative support for our compliance processes;
• Supporting digitalization including contract archiving and supplier management in our platforms.
