We are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our Commercial Litigation team, supporting a partner (and team of lawyers). The successful candidate will be a senior Legal Assistant with prior experience working in a similar practice group.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Exceptional organisational skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently
Advanced knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Advanced knowledge of CMS Aderant or other finance related software
Advanced knowledge of NetDocuments or other document management software.

Responsibilities:

Diary and inbox management
Billing, time recording, expense management and reporting
Preparation of correspondence and Court documents
Filing and service of Court documents
Infotrack searches (property searches; ASIC searches, etc)
Assisting with telephone enquiries and ability to develop relationships internally and externally
Matter management including opening and closing files, archiving, electronic filing and physical filing
Event management and travel bookings
