Description:

General Realty Group Ltd. is a privately owned commercial real estate company based in Edmonton. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Legal Administrative Assistant/Property Administrator: for our Edmonton based operations. The successful candidate will assist the Real Estate team and its related group of companies with its day-to-day administrative tasks, displaying superior organizational and communication skills while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Executive and finance administration including corporate directory maintenance, filing and organization of corporate documentation and records

- Liaison with corporate law and accounting firms managing invoicing, payments, document organization and filing

- Assisting with registration and insurance renewals including dealer plate renewals, fleet insurance policy renewals, umbrella liability policy renewals

- Provide general administrative support to various projects and departments across the group of companies

- General property administration duties as necessary to support Real Estate group. Including tenant file maintenance and correspondence, assisting with rent collection ensuring all outstanding balances are followed up on in a timely manner

- Organize and file lease agreements, working with the finance team to ensure tenants and lease agreements are current in accounting software

- Property tax filing, maintenance and correspondence including organizing CVG appeals

- Preparation and tracking of RFI returns and correspondence with various municipalities

- Other general office management duties such as filing, photocopying and file organization

- Reception relief as required

- Understanding of legal concepts and basic financial accounting principles is an asset
Education and Experience:

- Minimum 2+ years of office administrative experience

- Prior working experience in Legal or Accounting Administration, and/or Commercial Property Management is considered an asset

- Advanced Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat
-
- Experience with Yardi Breeze considered an asset
