Jones Whyte Law Ltd are looking to recruit a hard-working individual to join our thriving Legal Support Team as a Legal Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a successful team and contribute to the firm’s growth.
As a Legal Assistant, you will work as part of a team that provides legal support to our Litigation, Family and Dispute Resolution teams. Candidates should be pro-active, have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to handle a variety of different tasks. You will be working on an internal case management system and emails to support the case handlers with mail, court dates and production of court documents. Given the tasks involved in the job, you will be required to be in the office full-time.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing and scanning the incoming mail
  • Printing and preparing outgoing mail
  • Filing
  • Court diary management
  • Liaising with and providing administration support for Solicitors and Case Handlers
  • Working with the online case management system, keeping records up to date
  • Mailbox management
  • Making calls to clients/courts/other organisations
