Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our small but dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will assist our legal department with various tasks, including contract preparation, research, and general administrative support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about the legal field and interested in the sports and entertainment industry.
- Legal Support: Provide support to the MLSE Legal Department, including the revision of marked-up legal documents, and populating standard form templates,
- Document Management: Assuming responsibility for the Legal Department document management system.
- Administrative Duties General office duties, including typing, filing, couriering, file management, scheduling internal and external meetings, preparing correspondence, memos, letters, and other documentation as required.
Qualifications

- 2+ years of legal assistance experience is preferred.
- Post-secondary education (Legal Assistant diploma).
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, and ability to adapt to new systems and technology.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
