Legal Assistant

Robert Half is searching for a legal assistant to join a thriving boutique law firm in downtown Seattle!
This position is contract-to-hire, and is looking to start immediately.

Ensure detailed correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents are formatted, proofread, and finalized; prepare and finalize basic correspondence and other documents as needed.
Keep track of court deadlines and maintain an accurate calendar.
Submit pleadings in state and federal trial courts, maintain communication with court staff when necessary and stay updated with changes in court rules and filing procedures.
Provide general office support for litigation attorneys, including maintaining and organizing files, photocopying, maintaining calendars, preparing expense reports, submitting invoices for payment, scheduling travel, coordinating meetings, calls, and conferences.
Assist in the firm’s monthly billing process, monitor attorney time records and billing.

The salary range for this position is $24-30/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
