Description:
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Legal Assistant in Dublin, Ohio. The role primarily involves providing administrative support in a legal or corporate setting, particularly working with contracts and assisting a team of attorneys.
Responsibilities:
- Administer support to a team of attorneys by managing their schedules and assisting in their daily tasks
- Draft contracts and oversee the contracting process from creation to acquiring signatures, adhering to standard review and approval workflows
- Monitor the team’s legal inbox, distribute emails and mail efficiently
- Maintain operational support on general corporate matters and tasks such as routine contract reviews and completion of standard forms
- Utilize contract management tools effectively and learn new tools and processes as required
- Display strong communication skills and professionalism in all interactions
- Implement strong organizational skills in handling various tasks and responsibilities
- Process and handle customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
- Maintain accurate customer credit records and monitor customer accounts
- Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role
- Proficient in using Contracts and DocuSign
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of legal terminology and principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong research and report-writing skills
- Familiarity with legal documents and terminology.
