Description:

Litigation Legal Assistant

Robert Half has partnered with a premier, boutique law firm in the downtown Denver area on the search for a 3+ years’ criminal/civil litigation legal assistant to join their busy practice. Candidates interested in this position must have a strong working knowledge of Colorado and federal rules of civil procedure and should have experience filing in those respective jurisdictions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: filing legal documents with state and federal courts; downloading and disbursing pleadings; calculating and calendaring deadlines; assisting in the monthly billing process; drafting fee agreements; opening and closing client files; etc. Our client offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.   • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat is essential for document management tasks
  • Experience with Case Management Software is required for effective organization of legal cases
  • Ability to handle Billing Functions to ensure timely and accurate invoicing
  • Proficient in Calendar Management to schedule appointments, court appearances, and meetings
  • Strong Client Relations skills to maintain positive relationships with our clients
  • Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with clients, attorneys, and court officials
  • Knowledge of Criminal Law procedures and regulations is necessary
  • Familiarity with Civil Litigation processes is beneficial
  • Ability to Assist Attorneys in preparing for trials, meetings, and other legal proceedings
