Description:
Estate planning legal assistants in Orange County have an incredible opportunity to join an established firm!
Robert Half Legal is proud to partner with an Orange County firm that is an institution in the estate planning field. This firm is looking to bring in a new legal assistant for its estate planning and trust administration practice. The firm focuses on estate planning and wealth management for high-net worth individuals. This is a boutique firm that has great tenure, with people who have been with the firm for over 15 years! Experience with estate planning is hugely preferential, but not absolutely required.
The firm is located in Orange County. This is an on-site position because this paralegal will be working closely with clients and the attorneys, who will be onsite.
Responsibilities:
Draft and prepare legal documents, including correspondence, estate planning documents, trust administration documents, probate filings, pleadings, discovery requests, and etc.
Organize and maintain electronic and physical files.
Assist with document review and analysis.
Open and close client files.
Maintain case calendars and deadlines.
Schedule appointments, meetings, and court appearances.
Prepare for depositions, hearings, and trials.
Answer and direct phone calls.
Greet clients and visitors.
Schedule client appointments.
Assist with client intake and onboarding.
Manage correspondence, including email and postal mail.
Prepare expense reports and invoices.
Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
Assist with office management tasks as needed.
Legal research and summarizing research findings.
Hours : 40-hour weeks
