Qualifications

• The candidate must be self-starting with a “hit the ground running” work ethic.
• Excellent spelling and proofreading skills
• Typing (45+ wpm)
• Experience with filing and service in California superior and federal courts
• Ability to organize, prioritize and produce quality work
• Self-motivated and flexible in order to complete assignments in a timely manner
• 3-5 years of experience in similar field preferred

Responsibilities

• The Legal Assistant will perform a variety of duties for attorneys to whom assigned according to established policies and procedures, prepare practice-specific documents, efilings, scheduling depositions, inspections, and deadlines, screen telephone calls and take messages for attorneys.
