REQUIREMENTS

Key Requirements:

  • Preference for lawyers with fluent English and Mandarin capabilities, including reading, speaking, and writing both Simplified and Traditional Mandarin.
  • Experience with taking witness statements preferred.
  • Experience with document discovery or investigations is helpful, but training is provided.
  • Proficient in the use of modern technology, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to retain complex work direction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This position is only open to Malaysian citizens.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • preparing interview questions and documentation
  • review matter materials, assess issues that may fall within the ambit of the investigation
  • interviewing individuals, including sometimes non-cooperative ones
  • preparing written minutes and interview notes
  • drafting interview memorandums and reports, investigation report and email summary
  • reviewing large quantities of documents accurately and efficiently;
  • identifying key information and effectively communicating findings to other team members and your review manager; and
  • collaborating with the review manager and your team members to meet critical deadlines.
  • recognizing patterns in the data to allow for consistent coding of similar documents in larger quantities; and
  • being able to multi-task and work on multiple projects, as needed.
