REQUIREMENTS
Key Requirements:
- Preference for lawyers with fluent English and Mandarin capabilities, including reading, speaking, and writing both Simplified and Traditional Mandarin.
- Experience with taking witness statements preferred.
- Experience with document discovery or investigations is helpful, but training is provided.
- Proficient in the use of modern technology, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Critical thinking skills and ability to retain complex work direction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This position is only open to Malaysian citizens.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- preparing interview questions and documentation
- review matter materials, assess issues that may fall within the ambit of the investigation
- interviewing individuals, including sometimes non-cooperative ones
- preparing written minutes and interview notes
- drafting interview memorandums and reports, investigation report and email summary
- reviewing large quantities of documents accurately and efficiently;
- identifying key information and effectively communicating findings to other team members and your review manager; and
- collaborating with the review manager and your team members to meet critical deadlines.
- recognizing patterns in the data to allow for consistent coding of similar documents in larger quantities; and
- being able to multi-task and work on multiple projects, as needed.
