Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate to work within one of our specialist legal teams. The role involves working closely with colleagues and clients to aid communication, provide solutions and ensure that cases advance as quickly as possible, in line with agreed processes and client instructions.
The successful candidate will be a great communicator with an eye for detail, strong sense of client care and the ability to deal with a rapidly evolving workload.
Previous experience working in a legal environment working with pre-litigated cases or county court claims is desirable.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a legal team and demonstrate experience relevant to the role.
Excellent IT skills including MS Office, naturally organised and able to work effectively under pressure in order to meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively within a varied team, have an extremely strong and supportive work ethic and the willingness to ‘go the extra mile’ when required to produce results or meet a deadline.

Responsibilities:
The role will involve monitoring a caseload and close liaison with clients to ensure clients have a positive experience and cases are advanced effectively. This will include:
- Building and maintaining a strong relationship with our clients
- Ensuring active cases are advanced as swiftly as possible
- Producing, checking and amending any documentation necessary for the progress of the client’s cases
- Ensuring clients are kept well informed and providing solutions and advice on individual cases
- Addressing and dealing with any client queries or concerns
- Arranging and attending meetings with clients, identifying potential for growth
- Liaising with colleagues and teams across the business to facilitate the passage of information and advancement of cases
- Responding to all communications received in a timely manner
- Utilising our systems and reporting tools to review cases
- Seek appropriate advice and support from line managers in relation to any information that is ambiguous or where additional legal input or escalation is required
- Providing regular updates to clients on the progress of their cases
- Be proactive in communicating with client to achieve the desired outcome for all parties
- Ensuring cases are dealt with in order of priority, that all records and case information is up to date, accurate and reflects the actions taken
- Act as a subject matter expert when required and provide an excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Being a positive influence in your team and work with all stakeholders across the business to ensure that client’s needs are met
