JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be part of the Luxembourg Distribution Oversight team, playing an important role in continuing to build and develop the function to genuine “Best in Class” standards. This position will report to the head of distribution oversight, with responsibility to provide wide-ranging support to the investor services team, as well as the EMEA compliance and AML teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an oversight role (ideally distribution-related) or in the compliance and regulatory field within a fund manager or a reputable consulting firm
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral
  • Strong project management and report writing skills
  • Natural ability to develop relationships, internally and externally
  • Desire to work as part of a highly collaborative team in a fast-paced environment and willingness to embrace a variety of issues and devise solutions to problems

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform initial and periodic due diligence reviews on affiliated and non-affiliated distributors in accordance with BEFM’s risk-based approach and report results to internal stakeholders
  • Perform ongoing monitoring of distributors, including through collection and review of KPIs
  • Coordinate with legal counsel and internal stakeholders the review of distribution agreements
  • Monitor marketing activities at the level of BEFM’s branches
  • Oversee, with assistance of external parties, fund registration (incl. pre-marketing notifications) and fund maintenance (incl. KID updates) processes
  • Assist with new product development and new distribution channels
  • Assist with new fund onboarding from a distribution oversight perspective
  • Assist with submission of documentation required for Internal and External Audits
  • Assist with the preparation of documentation for submissions to the CSSF and other regulatory authorities
  • Oversee timely payment of marketing-related invoices
  • Act as a point of contact for distribution oversight matters to internal stakeholders
  • Prepare reporting to senior management regarding distribution oversight matters
  • Maintain and update the distribution oversight procedure
