This is a product with proven track record in other LexisNexis regions, and this is an extremely exciting opportunity for a proven individual contributor and entrepreneurial mindset to help build a new business line in the UK. Driving growth in Regulatory Compliance is a key business priority and this role will be well supported with access to go to market functions and support from the UK Strategy team.
About the Role
The Legal Content Developer is responsible for ensuring that their assigned portion of the Regulatory Compliance solution is fit for purpose for customers in different industries and jurisdictions. This is achieved through content creation and maintenance informed by customer insights.
The Legal Content Developer is the subject matter expert across the assigned modules within the Regulatory Compliance portfolio and they will contribute to the overall high-level strategy and outline detailed requirements to ensure financial and CX targets are met.
The Legal Content Developer will work with internal and external stakeholders, as well as various software and platforms, as part of their publishing responsibilities and broader content development initiatives.
Responsibilities

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the overall solution and assigned modules within portfolio and contribute to technological initiatives across the Regulatory Compliance offering as a whole. This includes:

  • Applying knowledge and customer insights to deliver content to ensure currency, relevance and accessibility for all products
  • Developing and communicating of value proposition of all modules
  • Supporting new content development proposals and implementation of new content and new titles within adjacent practice areas and/or jurisdictions
  • Supporting new business acquisition, marketing and customer retention
  • Being aware of developments, legislative reforms, procedures, case law and trends
  • Understanding of portfolio including target market, authors, positioning, structure and development needs

Requirements

  • Law degree or equivalent
  • Background as a Paralegal, legal or regulatory compliance
  • Superior reading and legal comprehension skills
  • Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Excellent relationship-building and networking skills
  • Content / product development experience
  • Appetite to work in a fast pace and collaborative environment
  • Background/ interest in experimenting with new processes, systems, AI and other evolving technologies
