Description:
The position of Legal Coordinator – Gaming (Australia) is responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support to in-house counsel in multiple jurisdictions regarding legal issues with different levels of complexity, including, but not limited to, drafting, reviewing, processing, revising, tracking, and filing of agreements as well as providing administrative support with litigation, corporate governance, special projects and performing other administrative or operational assignments for the Company and its subsidiaries. The position is based in Australia, at Aristocrat’s North Ryde, NSW office. Hybrid working schedules are currently allowed.
Responsibilities:
- Work on low and medium-effort legal documents that require minimum independent drafting (primarily by utilizing Company approved templates or modifying same), processing, revising, tracking, and filing agreements including, but not limited to, game/gaming machine sales, system sales, hardware service and maintenance agreements, sponsorship agreements, development agreements, agreements for professional services, information technology, intellectual property license agreements, non-disclosure agreements, global supply chain and indirect sourcing agreements
- Provide general support to all applicable business units regarding legal and contractual queries and matters
- Conduct basic legal, regulatory, and business-related research for in-house counsel and clients
- Ensure priority and rush assignments are handled effectively and efficiently
- Assist with due diligence investigations and/or requests in various jurisdictions in connection with Company transactions
- Communicate consistently during the review process of the status of assignments to in-house counsel, business clients, and vendors to keep them informed Build basic professional experience, a preliminary understanding of the field, and learn the operations of the business
- Demonstrate a consistent commitment to the values of the Legal Team
