Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group’s General Counsel, the role of Legal Counsel will be a new and crucial addition to the team, providing strategic and commercial legal advice to facilitate the TEEG’s ongoing expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Providing practical and strategic legal advice in respect of commercial contracting, property, construction, and regulatory issues.
- Identifying, and advising on the mitigation of, legal, regulatory and commercial risks.
- Performing legal research and analysing legal issues encountered by the business.
- Reviewing, drafting, and revising a range of contracts under supervision.
- Assisting with the maintenance of company secretarial records for group subsidiaries in Australia and New Zealand.
- Liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders both nationally and across our other operating countries.
- Assisting with the management of TEEG’s intellectual property portfolio.
Skills and Experience
This is a newly created role. The role would be perfect for someone who has just completed their PLT or is looking to make a change from their graduate program.
