The work is fast paced and varied, with exposure to leasing, commercial contracting, intellectual property and corporate governance.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group’s General Counsel, the role of Legal Counsel will be a new and crucial addition to the team, providing strategic and commercial legal advice to facilitate the TEEG’s ongoing expansion.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing practical and strategic legal advice in respect of commercial contracting, property, construction, and regulatory issues.
  • Identifying, and advising on the mitigation of, legal, regulatory and commercial risks.
  • Performing legal research and analysing legal issues encountered by the business.
  • Reviewing, drafting, and revising a range of contracts under supervision.
  • Assisting with the maintenance of company secretarial records for group subsidiaries in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders both nationally and across our other operating countries.
  • Assisting with the management of TEEG’s intellectual property portfolio.
    Skills and Experience
    This is a newly created role. The role would be perfect for someone who has just completed their PLT or is looking to make a change from their graduate program.
