Der/die Legal Counsel/Wirtschaftsjurist/in ist direkt unserem General Counsel unterstellt und für die rechtliche Unterstützung aller 1WorldSync-Geschäfte in Amerika, Europa und Asien zuständig. In dieser Position wirst du juristische und vertragliche Assistenten beaufsichtigen, die ein wachsendes Vertriebsteam unterstützen.

Als Legal Counsel/Wirtschaftsjurist bei 1WorldSync habst du unter anderem folgende Aufgaben:

• Beratung und Unterstützung der Abteilungen in rechtlichen Fragen
• Entwerfen, Prüfen und Überarbeiten von Verträgen
• Optimierung und Ausbau unseres Vertragsmanagements
• Koordinierung der Zusammenarbeit mit externen Rechtsberatern
• Durchführung von internen Schulungen zu rechtlichen Themen
• Beaufsichtigung des Bereichs Datenschutz inkl. Pflege der entsprechenden Prozesse und Dokumentationen
• Funktion als Schnittstelle für interne und externe Korrespondenz im In- und Ausland
• Begleitung von M&A-Transaktionen über den gesamten Lebenszyklus, vom Erstkontakt über die Due Diligence und die Vertragsgestaltung bis hin zur Post-Merger-Integration

1WorldSync is the industry leader in product content management. With approximately 600 employees across the US, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland, and the UK, we’re seeking a Legal Counsel/Business Lawyer to support our growing global team.
Reporting directly to our General Counsel, the Legal Counsel/Business Lawyer will be responsible for providing legal support for all of 1WorldSync’s businesses in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. This position will supervise legal and contract assistants supporting a growing sales team.

As Legal Counsel/Business Lawyer at 1WorldSync, responsibilities include the following:

• Advising and supporting the departments on legal issues
• Drafting, reviewing and revising contracts
• Optimization and expansion of our contract management
• Coordination of cooperation with external legal advisors
• Conducting internal training on legal topics
• Overseeing the area of data protection incl. maintaining of relevant processes and documentations
• Function as interface for internal and external domestic and foreign correspondence
• Accompaniment of M&A transactions along the entire life cycle, from initial contact, due diligence, and contract drafting to post-merger integration

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Successfully completed 2nd state examination in law or a similar qualification
• Practical experience in the field of contract law
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position, either in an international law firm or in an international company
• Business fluent in English and German
