As the size, footprint and complexity of the Group grows, we are seeking out an experienced General Counsel to join our team. As the chief legal officer, you will play a critical and pivotal role in providing legal advice, managing legal affairs, and ensuring the company’s compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the company’s legal strategy in alignment with its business goals.
- Drafting and updating of all legal company documents (e.g. Client Contracts, rental agreements, Non-disclosur agreements, General terms and conditions)
- Oversee and negotiate various contracts, including SaaS, software and subscription licenses, maintenance agreements, partnerships, vendor agreements, and customer contracts.
- Ensure the company’s compliance with local and international laws and regulations, including intellectual property, data privacy, and cybersecurity laws.
- Manage and oversee any legal disputes, litigation, or legal proceedings involving the company.
- Identify and assess legal risks associated with business activities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Advise on corporate governance matters, including board of directors’ responsibilities and corporate policies.
- Oversee data protection and privacy compliance, especially where the software handles personal or sensitive data.
- Provide guidance on employment law matters, including labor relations, employee contracts, and HR policies.
- Assist in due diligence and legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships
