JOB DESCRIPTION

PHILIPS Central, Eastern Europe is a country cluster (Market) of 30 countries with entities in Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Czech Rep, Hungary, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia.
For CEE we are currently looking for a talented and experienced CEE Legal Counsel, who has worked in an international environment, with either an international operating company or a law company.
This role is an office role.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE:

  • Providing proactively legal support from a country and/or international context, including legal advice on commercial, contractual, HR, litigation, intellectual property, legal compliance, patients and consumers claims and other matters and fully cooperates with external and internal legal experts as necessary.
  • Performing trainings to employees to ensure right awareness.
  • Closely cooperating with the CEE and the Global Legal Department, as well as collaborates with any other departments (e.g. Risk Management, Internal Audit, HR, Procurement etc.) as appropriate.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Master of Laws (obligatory) and an attorney-at-law or an advocate professional title (recommended).
  • Professional experience gained in private practice and/or in-house in an international environment/ company/ group of companies.
  • Proven track record in managing daily legal support, specific transactions in project and solution business (private and public sector) including but not limited to public tenders overall, PPP, managed equipment services, joint ventures, mergers, business transfers as well as other dedicated legal projects.
  • Fluent in Polish and English.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, including critical problem-solving ability.
  • High ethical standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
