Responsibilities:
- Support Head Counsel, Corporate & Operations in developing and implementing efficient and effective global coordination and execution solutions for corporate functional initiatives (e.g., establishments, restructurings, liquidations).
- Provide analysis, support, interpretation, and counsel across general corporate, financing, integration, and other transactions, including treasury, tax, and accounting questions related to restructuring and post-transaction integration.
- Act as the legal representative for specific corporate restructuring work streams as needed.
- Enable Insurance stakeholders to achieve strategic and commercial goals by providing legal expertise efficiently and effectively, including liaising with external counsels when required.
- Take primary responsibility for specific projects from Insurance stakeholders on moderately to significantly complex matters.
- Proactively identify legal issues with a business-wide impact and provide pragmatic solutions.
- Work collaboratively and cross-functionally to address legal compliance, process, and resource constraints.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned and support ad hoc projects.
