REQUIREMENTS:
- Legal Degree from a recognized university, with a focus on employment/labor law being a strong advantage
- 2-4 years of experience in a legal role, ideally with a focus on employment law, contracts, and employee-related legal matters
- Solid knowledge of labor law, employment regulations, and compliance requirements, including familiarity with GDPR as it relates to employee data
- Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts and other legal agreements related to employee relations
- Strong skills in dispute resolution, particularly in handling labor disputes and other employee-related legal proceedings
- Familiarity with corporate governance and preparation of internal documents, such as policies and resolutions, is preferred
- Experience in collaborating with external legal advisors and law firms.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to provide practical legal advice in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are an asset
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day legal advisory services, focusing on employment law, labor contracts, and employee-related legal matters for all internal departments and Management
- Review, draft, and negotiate employee agreements and other employment-related contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws
- Assist in the preparation and review of internal corporate documents related to employment, such as policies, regulations, resolutions, and power of attorney documents.
- Support the company in handling labor disputes, disciplinary actions, and other employment-related proceedings, both litigious and non-litigious
- Ensure compliance with personal data protection regulations (including GDPR) in the context of employee data
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of employment contract templates, policies, and legal processes
- Collaborate with external law firms on employment-related matters and other legal issues as needed
- Stay informed of the latest developments in labor law and provide legal opinions on employment-related matters.
