For our team at the Hamburg office, we are looking for a new member for an international role as Legal Counsel in employment law, who is enthusiastic and committed to working at eye level with the business for the success of the company.
In addition to your excellent legal skills, it is particularly important to us that you fit into our team with your personality. You should also have the desire to familiarise yourself with new areas of (international) employment law and to think outside the purely legal box.

Responsibilities:

  • Employment Law advice on the creation and implementation of group-wide HR strategies (including review and harmonisation of policies, elaboration and adaptation of reward schemes, global mobility and organisational design)
  • Supporting HR business partners on employment law matters in international projects, reorganisations and global (HR) initiatives
  • Support on individual employment law matters related to top executives
  • Employment law advice on and implementation of M&A transactions including harmonisation of group-wide working conditions
  • Supporting the business in analysing and evaluating (international) employment law issues related to new business initiatives
  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating international contracts in an employment law context in close coordination with the businessCoordination of external law firms from various jurisdictions
