Description:

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive legal support across various business units, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations while protecting the company’s interests.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a legal counsel or in a similar role, preferably in the real estate or construction sectors
  • Strong understanding of corporate law, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and dispute resolution
  • Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Bilingual, Arabic and English

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of legal issues, including contracts, corporate governance, and labor law
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements to minimize risks and ensure compliance
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on relevant legal issues
  • Assist in dispute resolution processes including litigation management and settlement negotiations
  • Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop compliance policies and training programs
  • In coordination with external legal counsel, manage legal matters related to ongoing projects
  • Assist in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
  • Support the Development Committee in legal and regulatory matters
