Description:
Our client, a leading provider of technology integration and marketing services, is looking to hire a Legal Counsel for their growing team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the legal framework of a multinational company establishing a regional U.S. headquarters to drive its expansion.
As the company rapidly grows its U.S. presence, this position will play a pivotal role in developing a strong legal foundation. REQUIREMENTS:
- Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer while overseeing legal matters in collaboration with the headquarters team.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and implementing effective risk management strategies.
- Offer strategic legal guidance on corporate governance, compliance, and business operations.
- Manage relationships with external legal partners and oversee litigation processes.
- Develop legal policies and procedures to seamlessly integrate the U.S. subsidiary into the company’s global operations framework.
- Possess legal experience in multinational corporations, particularly within the electronics, manufacturing, or construction sectors.
- Demonstrate strong strategic thinking and the ability to design proactive legal strategies.
- Exhibit a deep understanding of corporate and contract law with practical applications in a multinational environment.
- Navigate the complexities of both U.S. and international legal systems.
- Showcase proven experience in handling litigation, disputes, and legal risk management.
- Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in Chinese considered an advantage.
- Bring experience working with multinational companies, particularly in high-tech, manufacturing, or construction industries.
- Hold a J.D. or Bachelor’s degree in Law.
