The Role
Legal Counsel – Riyadh Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation based in the Middle East. They are seeking a bilingual English- and Arabic-speaking Legal Counsel to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. RESPONSIBILITIES • Providing legal advice and recommendations on important legal matters to support decision-making processes and safeguarding the company’s interests in dealings with employees, trademarks, IPs, contractors, and recruiters • Advising on agreements related to the company’s operations to minimise legal exposure and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations • Developing, evaluating, and revising legal documents, contracts, correspondence, and agreements to ensure legality, and safeguarding company interests • Ensuring the integrity of legal content, managing potential risks, and intervening when needed to resolve issues • Conducting legal research on various matters to recover company rights, minimising liability, and reaching amicable settlements • Representing the company in ministries, government courts, and other related bodies to resolve legal cases in the company’s best interests
Requirements
PROFILE • Law degree, ideally with professional certificates such as LLM or similar. Licensed to practice law in Saudi Arabia • 7-10 years’ experience in relevant legal fields • Thoroughly knowledgeable of the legal systems in Saudi Arabia and some regional law, especially the UAE • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English and Arabic APPLICATION PROCESS If you fulfill the minimum requirements stipulated by our client and are confidentially interested in applying, then please drop Linum Consult a line with a copy of your CV and contact details.
