Legal Counsel

The essential function of this role is to provide advice on commercial leasing and property management matters, working closely with senior counsel and leasing managers. You will be exposed to a diverse portfolio of properties throughout North America with a wide-ranging and exciting mix of tenants.
In addition to the core leasing duty, there is opportunity to expand to other areas of Onni’s business, depending on interest and skill set. This could include litigation, development, construction, and corporate.
As Legal Counsel at Onni, you will work within a team of experienced in-house lawyers and paralegals. You will also have the opportunity to integrate closely with other departments within the company. This creates the opportunity to develop your legal skills within an exciting business environment.

• Negotiating commercial leases from landlord perspective
• Managing lease disputes, settlements, and terminations
• Assisting with other property law, real estate development, corporate, and litigation matters as required
• Other duties as assigned by executive staff
