Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Ensure all businesses are conducted in compliance with applicable laws and regulations as well as with all relevant company policies
• Responsible for all legal and compliance matters of the country operation including contract development, negotiation and management, counseling and advising the business also on board / executive level, conducting all litigation
• Leading critical initiatives and projects and continually improving the service the Legal Department provides to the organization
• Developing and presenting various face-to-face trainings to employees in compliance matters, the monitoring of the general compliance adherence, the cooperation with the Regional Business Integrity Officer and Security Director and the leading participation in compliance investigations
• Interacting with the other Mondelēz Europe or Mondelēz International counsels on multi-country matters and exclusively procures, manages and coordinates all required outside counsel support
• Building relationships, influencing others without authority, effectively communicating and working with a diverse internal and external stakeholder base such as public and governmental authorities and agencies (Data Protection, Customs Authorities, Ministries, Municipalities, Food Safety Agencies, Consumer Protection, Protection of Competition).
• Managing legal budget and spending
• Managing and working with external counsels, authorities, administrative bodies, consultants
• Managing 1 direct report
• Strong stakeholder management experience
